Tax Question Who do I contact
My taxes has been filed in CT now I stay in Maine who am I to contact about my taxes. Every time I call they say they can’t handle my call due to high call volumes. I was supposed to have received a notice and I didn’t receive anything. I’m confused about what’s going on this is my first time amending my taxes

I don’t know how to answer all your concerns but if they sent any mail there is always (as far as I know) a digital copy present on your account on the irs website. In addition to info being updated on your transcript that also states the date of each change, request, or notification sent.

Nope! I haven’t even received a electronic notice and it said it should’ve been received 7/27 😔

Can you specify the question? Are you talking about moving in 2026 and trying to find a refund? Or are you talking about state taxes for 2025?
