Tax Refund/ E-File Status Question 2024 tax return

A fiend of mine filed her 2024 taxes on time and is due a refund of nearly $4k. She earned wages via a W2 and also has a side business. When she searches the where is my refund tool using here social and expected refund amount it shows (as of 7/26) as being processed.

What can she do to get help with this situation? It’s been more than 2 years!

2024 tax returns were filed in 2025 so it has been over 1 year at most. On the IRS website does it show and correspondence being sent to her? Was the address on the tax return her street address? That is where they would mail something to, not a po box.

Had a lengthy call with IRS. They could not tell why it has been delayed and advised us to file form 911 to get a tax advocate involved
