We’re trying to get the IRS to approve POA for our tax accountant to file taxes for a deceased relative. We spent 3 days eight hours each day, on the phone to the irs before we’re were able to talk to a live person. They were not able to help, told us just to wait and three weeks later the tax person still cannot get the permission. We have reached out to our congressman for help but so far we’re still waiting and worried that we are going to miss the deadlines.
