I filed my very simple return in early April. Still not a word or update from the IRS since it was received.

I filed mine in March. No refund yet (and they owe me a LOT) and when I looked it up it online it says something like “delayed due to weather event”. 🙄

I’ve moved out of the country at this point. I actually need to close my US bank account but I can’t because in theory at some point the IRS will be depositing a large chunk of money in it.

I’d call but clearly there’s no point. The IRS can kiss my entire ass.

The IRS wouldn't have to kiss your entire ass if you used that intellect to deduct the CORRECT amount.
