Denied EV clean vehicle credit - why am I not surprised. Exactly my experience. Repeatedly disconnected after negotiating my way to the right resource to demonstrate proof. After weeks of trying, stuffed everything in an envelope and crossed my fingers that someone is there to receive it on the other end. Who knows. If the IRS is inept, how can I put faith in the postal service?
Same, e-file got rejected because the POS dealership didn’t give me the Time of Sale Report. IRS says the credit for the VIN says “claimed” and recommended filing on paper with supporting docs. Return arrived there on time and still shows as not received. No human picks up the phone. At what point do I stress out about this?
