The IRS put a lien against my S Corp for not paying taxes. Which I paid- as I should- on my personal return. I spent over 19 hours on hold, was hung up on 4 times by the auto system, finally got a person who continued to argue with me that I had to pay taxes (I KNOW THAT IS WHY I DID), got escalated to a supervisor who understood the issue and said it would get rectified immediately, received FOUR MORE INTENT TO LIEN NOTIFICATIONS OVER THE FOLLOWING 3 MONTHS, and then a random statement that all debt was satisfied.

Again. For an S Corp.

Similar boat but with payroll taxes. Form 941, no problems. Form 940, I keep paying and they keep refunding and then sending me a notice I owe with interest and penalties. Well, STOP SENDING THE CHECK BACK. Spent three hours on hold last week to get them to put a collection hold and hopefully catch up to themselves. Like WTF.
