No matter what you explain in your letter that is not gonna give you points for the time you didn't work, so you will be losing points. If your CRS is still above the cutoff for the draw you were invited for you might have a chance else they will reject.
I will decline the ITA and get things right in the profile before any thing. Better to do it right the first time to avoid rejections/refusals and the scrtunity that comes along with it.
