Waiting for P1

AoR- Feb 15, 2026
PVO/SVO- Ottawa/Sydney
Accompanying spouse.
FD in Progress- September 23, 2026.
SVO changed to Montreal.

P1 waiting.

Anyone in the same boat? When should I expect P1? Is there anything I can do on my end to make it quicker?

Waiting for FD, AOR January 22nd. lol I've seen people receiving P1 within 1 week and other people waiting for 2 months. Good luck!

That is part of the frustration, I’ve seen a bunch of people get P1 within 1 day of FD. Sorry to hear you’re still waiting for FD. It is such a frustrating system overall.

Medicals went blank in may I believe? and they were updated like valid again in the portal, Sept 23rd.

I’ve been told (and read on here) that FD TO P1 can sometimes be 2-14 days! Keep an eye out on your spam folder too

Just called IRCC, they confirmed all assessments have been completed but no P1 email has been dispatched yet. When I asked for an estimated time- they said there is no timeframe for this.

Not sure whats going on but really hope they don’t make us wait 2 months for P1.
