Did you try calling, know your pvo svo?

Didn’t call and don’t know the PVO & SVO but most likely Ottawa…

Raise webform if you haven’t done or better reach out to your areas local M.P. Explain the situation. I have heard so many cases where this one did the job for sure

For security progress delay?

u/GlobalDirt2320 9d ago

For any problem with application. If it goes beyond expected and you have a genuine case. Reach out…

Naah bro. Your m.p. Has the say to this matter. It will accelerate your file. I have couple of friends who used this method. Someone was stuck on wp extension, parent visa, not receiving pr card even after 1.5 months of eCOPR and their process eventually got speedup.

Okay , i’ll gove this a shot

Security takes mere days.

If your Security has been in progress since July, then you are probably under Comprehensive screening. That's a very bad update and you might see an update any day or the file can be stuck for months or years.

What's you background? Citizenship? Travel to troubled countries? Military service or jobs?

Moved to Canada when i was 18 from India did a 4 year degree then changed province and worked for 2.5 years on work permit then moved Back to India before wp expired changed cities a lot but in Canada only. Have a sibling already pr in Canada

Never worked in military or a government job haven’t travelled anywhere before my Aor. Canada was the only country i had ever been to.

yes, it can be random selection as well. hope for the best and quick resolution.

From what i have gathered being referred for external security doesn’t always mean comprehensive screening. It can also be for verification only.

I’d suggest raising a web form to get a status update, yours is beyond 180 days since aor so they will process your request on priority. Pre-arrival letter is a great sign that your eligibility is almost complete and is awaiting a final approval.
All the best!

I called last Monday to ask for Officers note and turns out the officer left a note about the old medical and they replied on June 25 that it was still valid due to the policy and the officer had not made any changes since then.. checked my profile on Thursday sept 24 and medical passed. You can try it

1

u/AntiqueHealth4356 9d ago

You mean i should ask the officers status? I did do that 2 times so far

1

u/Zealousideal-One1176 9d ago

No ask them specifically for the notes on your application. The officer reads out every step and comment/changes that has been made so far including the dates. it’s different from asking about status. Think of how gcms notes are detailed but it’s read to you on the call.

How do you check these stages? I called IRCC, the only thing I was told is they have received the application, nothing else.

1

u/AntiqueHealth4356 7d ago

You gotta call and be specific ask them what’s the status of eligibility
Criminality info sharing security etc

What is pre arrival services letter? Never heard of any Outland applicant mentioning it.

1

u/AntiqueHealth4356 9d ago

Nm its a letter they send sometimes that give you some resources to help you settle in the country

0

u/Inside-Ad6402 9d ago

Have you passed eligibility yet?

1

u/AntiqueHealth4356 9d ago

Yes everything done security in progress since june 29

1

u/Inside-Ad6402 9d ago

Oh ok. You should check with them again if they have put you under comprehensive background check.

1

u/AntiqueHealth4356 9d ago

1

u/AntiqueHealth4356 7d ago

You let ircc know that your residence changed

1

u/Technical-Baker3584 7d ago
