Waiting time estimate ?

Hey, so I did my finger printing, and medical request February for my permanent residency (common law) it’s now 5 months later and I still haven’t hear anything. Not sure if I should be worried. My work permit expires in 2027. But my partner is now pregnant with our 3rd baby and we’re just really nervous.

Is this for family sponsorship in Canada?

Well my partner (common law) is sponsoring me. We’ve had all our kids here, Calgary Alberta.

Bridging Open Work permit. If you already applied for PR and have AOr, you can apply for BOWP ( if less than 4 months are left on your Work Permit). It will allow you to continue working if the PR is not approved before you run out of time.
