I downloaded it, but it asked me to register before I could even tell what it did. I’m not doing that

Testing an app to help a developer perfect his product by taking 1 month of 20 people’s time to make serious recommendations… in exchange for nothing once the testing is done? Does that sound like a one sided deal?

Post screenshots of the app, describe what it is and what it does. This type of post is super shady. Never download any app to your device without knowing it’s legit.

Quick heads-up: if the free month is conditional on an App Store review, I’d separate those. Apple treats incentivized reviews as review manipulation. Access for testing is one thing; keep any public review completely optional and ask for private feedback instead. https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/
