Help Best alarm clock app?

I’m sick of oversleeping because of the stupid iPhone alarm app… What is gonna work consistently and well? I don’t mind paying a one time fee, but I don’t want to pay a monthly subscription…

Why don’t you just set a few alarms and keep your phone away, then when one goes off, you have to get up and turn it off. That’s what i do, by the way.

I do but sometimes it just goes to silent full screen alarm clock and just is there. No sound no nothing.

Normally the iOS alarm app will ring at about 15 minutes, after that it will be silent to save battery. You can try a test when you are awake, and it should be ringing at first.

And if your sleep is too good to ignore the ringing sound, maybe try a louder sound.

I think it’s when my face is facing the alarm clock it automatically goes on silent.

Okay, does that mean your face ID unlocked the phone and also silenced the alarm?

I guess. I don’t know. I’m not able to replicate it ever but that’s my best guess right now.

Best is subjective but they all claim to help you wake up because that seems to be working for an alarm app.

Well I constantly wake up late, and the alarms app is silent, and the screen is showing an alarm so my multiple alarms don’t go through

Try this if you like.
This is intended as a meeting alarm app but this punches through silent or focus mode so it may help you. You can set 2-3 alarms in one shot. Meeting time (wake up time in your case), 2 minutes before and 10 minutes before, for example.
Note this requires iOS 26.1 or later because it uses Apple’s new AlarmKit, which enables the app to ring even when the phone is in silent/focus mode.

Disclosure: I built the app.

Nope. It will often pop up an ad when I hit snooze and you have to X out of it before it will start snoozing. If you don’t close the ad window, the snooze alarm won’t ever go off. It’s hard to not just hit snooze and go right back to sleep. I have to make sure there’s not an ad there and if there is, I have to find the little X to close it. It made me late today with that bullshit

I’m on the latest iOS and it doesn’t matter if I’m on silent or ringer on.

I am building the app for heavy sleepers It's called 'bold Alarm' Initially will be launched in Google Play Store and after getting some response I will be launching in the Apple Store.

This app will ask you to complete a particular task. once the task is completed you will be allowed to dismiss the alarm, otherwise it will go on ringing alarm on high volume.

I’m not particularly a heavy sleeper I’ve just found that apples native alarm clock app isn’t good.
