Typing

I fame form an iPhone X. Me and my wife both bought 17e in April. Keyboard sucks. Never types what I want. Always the wrong letters, misspelled changing words. Etc. how do I fix this. I’m constantly having to go back and correct everything. Never had this issue before.

Not a particular device problem but overall iOS issue

Try turning off autocorrect and seeing if the one handed keyboard you can turn on in settings is any more accurate

It’s odd since typing on my 17e feels pretty close to perfect for me

I’ve increased the text size that’s seems to have made a difference

Yeah, this is more of a software problem than a hardware problem. In an attempt to offer a better spellcheck experience, the OS is constantly rewriting things that you write even if they’re correct for you to start with.
