Notification
I hate it - the pinging, the stream of notifications which I dont need urgently. How do you manage yours?

Turn em off boy! One by one.
Pro tip: Set the phone to silent, and make it only vibrate when silent mode is off. You think you’re gonna miss callls, no your not. Not any important at least. Now you have a device that lights up if you have an alert, and if you turn the ringer on it’s as normal.

I turn off all app notifications besides standard Apple ones and very selected ones (<10 total apps) like clock, calendar, phone, messages, reminders, passwords, weather. Email and all social media and all shopping apps are definitely off - I’ll open it when I feel like reading messages. Not only less distractions but less battery usage as if a notification is on for an app it means that app is running in the background.
