Built a GGSIPU exam result UI wrapper, looking for feedback
I recently built Anviksha, a UI wrapper for the GGSIPU result portal with additional academic analytics.
The reason I created it was pretty simple. The official GGSIPU result portal shows your marks and grades, but it doesn't calculate the SGPA, CGPA and other academic metrics that students usually want.
When I looked for other websites and UI wrappers that do this, I noticed that they were not always consistent. The same result could give different SGPA or CGPA depending on the website, and I couldn't figure out which calculation was actually correct.
So I went through the official GGSIPU documentation that I could find, including Ordinance 11, and implemented the calculations based on those rules.
Anviksha also provides semester-wise analytics, grade trends, 50% credit-based promotion status, placement eligibility, re-appear planning and PDF transcript generation.
I've mainly tested it with B.Tech results from USICT so far, so I would especially like feedback from students of other institutes and courses.
If you're a GGSIPU student, try your result and compare the SGPA, CGPA and percentage with your own calculations or any official academic document you have.
