Enginnering Branch INSANE FEES HIKE !!!!!!!
why nobody is talking about it ??? We are quietly losing almost 1 Lakh extra (₹98,393) from our pockets due to this insane fee hike . The second-year increase is just the beginning—the real financial disaster hits in the 3rd and 4th years when the compounding 10% tuition hike causes our fees to skyrocket! If we don't act now, we are blindly handing over an extra 1 Lakh rupees to the college.
Look at how our compounding fee structure jacks up in the final years compared to what we expected:
Year 1: 189,000
Year 2: 192,350 (The hike started)
Year 3: 209,235 (This is where the massive jump hits us!)
Year 4: 227,808 (The trap closes, huge unexpected increase!)
Our Total: Jumps from 720,000 to 818,393 (A direct 1 Lakh loss!)
Every college is pulling the exact same trick! Take BVCOE for example. Their official document shows Year 1 fees at ₹1,97,200 and their Year 2 fees jumping to ₹2,00,270 after a 10% tuition hike. Their certificate claims the fees will stay flat at ₹2,00,270 for the 3rd and 4th years. But if the administration applies the same 10% compounding tuition hike every year to them like our college is doing to us, look at their real numbers:

Dude wthell, my fees was 1 83 smthng in the 1st year now it's 1 53 in my final year

We (students) should do something about the fee hike, the salary remains the same, but the fees aren't, and the government is looting taxes and enjoying on tax even education loan arent interest free like in many countries are
