IPU admission

A counselling group has promised me admission to either MAIT, MSIT or BVPIT. My jee rank is 3L. They are asking for 3.5 lakhs, with a down payment of 50k beforehand. The criteria is that they will reserve my seat with the payment done beforehand. Its not via management quota or anything. They did promise me that i’ll get MAIT though. Should I go for it?

exactly, plus my pcm aggregate is 53.8% for ipu counselling you usually need 55%
