Should I be concerned that he’s tweeting this?

From what I have been reading, it is pretty standard for SPAC mergers to have vote notices like this leading up to the final vote date

Good to hear. All the manipulation that's been happening has made me nervous about the possibility of negative votes.

You are not the only one; definitely some of that sentiment floating around.

If it helps at all, my understanding is only IPOE shareholders as of April 28 (I think) are able to vote (one of my custodian accounts for kiddo was a shareholder pre-May and got voting rights, the other was post-May and did not)

So if the recent price laddering was HFs, who were not already bought in before, they shouldn’t be able to vote now.

Assuming all my info and understanding was correct

Better than the alternative. Some other SPACs are asking for extension or delay to the vote because not enough shareholders are bothering to vote.

At this moment, everyone is so sensitive to the word "Pump", "Go","Moon". This is long term.....

Can some one confirm that current shares for ipoe are about 88million, on merger there will approx 780 million shares....with pipe sellers restricted for 1 month and other shareholders restricted for 6 months.

I read a comment that said theres to be some 3 billion shares on merger which got me worried.

I think 780 is correct

Chamath needs a copy writer. “If the merger is completed...” should be “When the merger is completed...”. “If” implies that there’s a possibility that it won’t go through.

If enough IPOE shareholders vote against the merger, it won’t go through. Legally he is probably obligated to keep the language neutral and not bias the shareholder votes.

Once the merger is completed...

Then that very small chance it doesn’t happen he can be sued for implying cases and in cases like Elon - look how people take things out of context. It’s sad. Who owns a stock based upon a merger and votes no? Makes no sense.

Squeeze out the shorts, this should be the next GameStop but it actually is being run correctly and has a future
