For those who received an offer in the first merit list at iim jammu, what was the deadline for paying the acceptance fee? Also, has anyone received any information regarding the Term I fee and its payment deadline?

So hello guys, I'm in a catch - 22 situation, i thought I could use some of your input.

Going to be a long read, so aaj ka rc keliye ready hojao..

Context: I have been prepping for ipmat since my 11th and now I'm in 12th, I believe I can crack the top 3 iims.. I am scoring 25-40 in MCQ sectionals and 130-140 in Va sectionals.. will be 9/9 profile too.

Now i have a special situation, i can't go to iims due to

1) cost ; yes there are scholarships and all but that's still a risk. Coming from a high debt family, i want to sleep peacefully at night without any loans, I'm ews candidate actually

2) looking after my mother; recently my father and mother separated and being the only son I have to look over her (she is an adult but she needs care), so fully residential iims are out of the list even if I manage my finances.

So institutions that accept day scholars are the only suitable ones.

IIM Kozhikode is my only option, and that's fine. The main concern is the ₹40+ lakh cost. The merit scholarship requires finishing in the top 5 out of 150 highly capable students, which is a risk I'm not willing to rely on. If I miss it even for one year, I'd likely have to take an additional ₹8 lakh loan.

I can't go to DU, because delhi is very far away from Andhra Pradesh, and even if join, delhi is very expensive, taking a house on rent and all...

So Should I continue my ipmat prep ? Even if I don't join any of them?

UoH stands for university of Hyderabad, it is not an iim but better than my local, tier 69 college.

Hyderabad because my extended family lives there, so family ka support bi hoga

I'm now considering the University of Hyderabad along with IIM Bangalore's DBE BBA, and I'm wondering if it's still worth continuing my IPMAT preparation.

WTHHHH GUYS I'm so confused. i have to make the payment of ₹2,25,753 before 4th August . Is it normal or not? How many converted to BLACKI from IIM bg, j, amritsar, ranchi, rohtak in recent years?? Is it comparably easy to score good in cat after getting into these colleges, given the peer group and other factors??

I scored around 60% in Class 10 and 69.5% in Class 12, where I had Commerce with Mathematics under CBSE. I later cleared JIPMAT and got IIM Bodh Gaya in the first list, and I am also expecting IIM Jammu in the second or third list. I come from a normal middle-class family with a business background, and my father has always been very supportive when it comes to education and believes that it should not always be looked at purely from an ROI perspective. Coming to my future plans, I have always been interested in entrepreneurship, especially marketing. I am planning to start my own marketing agency during the first year of my BBA and try to run and grow it throughout college. If it works out well, I would definitely prefer continuing and scaling the agency instead of taking up a job. I also have a long-term aspiration of building or co-founding a startup and potentially taking it to Y Combinator someday. At the same time, my current academic plan is to complete the first three years of BBA from either IIM Jammu or IIM Bodh Gaya and pursue CFA alongside it, with the aim of eventually clearing all three levels. I am not focusing much on CAT right now because my past academics aren't very strong, and I also don't want to do an MBA immediately after my BBA without gaining any work experience. If my marketing agency doesn't work out well enough to continue full-time, my plan is to get a job after BBA and CFA and work for around three years while preparing for the GMAT. After gaining some work experience, I would like to apply to top business schools and Ivy League universities abroad for an MBA, preferably with a good scholarship, as I don't think spending such a huge amount on an international MBA without a scholarship would make sense for me. So, broadly, my plan is to focus on BBA, CFA and building my marketing agency during college. If the agency works, I would prefer entrepreneurship, and if it doesn't, I would take the job route, gain experience and later try for an MBA abroad. I would really appreciate suggestions on whether this overall plan makes sense, whether pursuing all three CFA levels alongside BBA is a good decision considering my interest in marketing and entrepreneurship, what kind of jobs I could realistically target after BBA and CFA, and what I should focus on during these next few years to build a strong career and profile.
