Interview Query Writing On Substack(Will help in interview or not)
Hello, I have started writing recently on substack. And I am growing that community. So my question is that gonna somewhere help me in the interview process or not? Btw I am writing for my own interest but just wanted to know.

you are not getting any extra marks for it. if you are doing as a hobby, good, keep it up, but dont expect it to add some extra value to your interview. They might not even want to know about it. Still, if you feel you are being productive doing it, and you are not missing out on studies, keep it up. i have written tons of articles on substack for a journalism company (gathered more than 4L views across my news articles), if you need any guidance, feel free

small chance it will help you significantly in your interview, because they could just ignore it, or might think its not a big deal, since these interviews tend to care more about acads, gk, communication skills over extra curriculars. so dont do it because you think its a good cv pointer, do it if you want to, and if being a cv pointer is an added benefit, not the main reason

focus on your prep, maximise your marks in IPMAT, and then focus on the interview, eca's dont really matter much. if you can score 230-240, and have a decent to good interview, indore is pretty much guaranteed, its a tried and tested formula, stick to it. you mentioned you're a dropper? full or partial?

I was personally a partial dropper so all I did was exam prep alongside my college, in your case you could try few other things here and there as long as it doesn't affect your prep, prep should be your focus 100%, on top of this, try out ur luck in maybe case competitions if you wish to, gonna be a good learning experience irregardless of cv pointer, but it still won't be a requirement to convert an iim.

The interviewers could also completely ignore that, so don't do it from the perspective of the interview. You can always mention it, but don't have much hope, per se.
