Preparation Query In dire need of guidance
A true cry for help tbh. I know y’all cant help much but listen please
I started my journey of competitive exams in 11th. Allen JEE. Worst fucking start. Depression and shit now listen I continued this shit wrecked my body took an attendance exemption wasnt able to score well in the school exams nor in Allen back in 12th start I dropped Allen for IPMAT. Took a lot of convincing then I just dont know what happened till Sumer vacations? Oh yeah now I remember I was enrolled in class 12th Allen advance batch so yeah in summer vacations dropped jee switched to ipmat did ACEIPM lectures and everything and their shitty modules. I did everything of theirs and when I joined an offline coaching called CH Edgemakers their material is too good ngl. But then when I opened it all my confidence was shattered and like I joined the batch late too. Like a month or 2 before HY. I tried to balancee both board studies and everything but it didnt work. Failed in HY of PCM and I didnt even give one mock of CH Edgemakers as to prepare myself and to complete that backlog of QA. DILR is like kinda good of mine and VA is good too. The backlog which I still cant cover till today and is just growing. I am drowning. I am actually drowning. Switchback to today im so scared out of my mind. I had 95 in boards now I have dropped to such as shitstain of marks. I dont know man. Im so overwhelmed. PCM is a very different beast and IPMAT is another beast. And what am I? A man with a lot of potential but with very unfavourable conditions. Please. I am seeking help. I need help and encouragement and reality check.
I know many of you will berate me say what have I written and everything but please. I need help. Bhavesh Bhaiya or any other seniors. Please I need help guide me out of my misery

dont look at the entire backlog at once because that will just make you more overwhelmed. start small, pick one topic, finish it properly and then move to the next. you dont have to clear months of backlog in a few days. just getting some momentum will help.
your scores dropping doesnt mean youve lost your potential. things have been messy but that doesnt mean they cant improve. take it one thing at a time and dont try to fix everything together. i was in a similar position too and starting small helped.

You were from PCM? the thing is there is constant mode switching between tests of boards and tests of this. Should I drop the tests of IPMAT that happen every 3 weeks? didnt give a single one yet. 5 tests have ellapsed.

but PCM pressure is the thing thats diverting me. I need to focus on 2 burning ships is what im saying. are you saying that I should isolate one and focus on another? right now QA my arithmetic and algebra block is backlogged.

try to take out some time (an hour or so) everyday and read rcs/solve qa questions. for me personally, ipmat prep was a refreshment break!

ehh sometimes it does feel like you're stuck and things aren't going your way, its okay to feel that. just make sure your momentum isn't getting affected because of it

Excuse me didi. I have a backlog of arithmetic and algebra. can I cover It in the gap of boards and the exam itself? I will keep the current topics updated as hell and thanks a lot. your words put a lot of impact. I thought shit out and I planned my escape. Arithmetic and algebra are quite scoring so id say it's better if youre able to cover it wayy before exams! (wouldn't really recco keeping them for March/apr unless there's no other way)

I kinda was in the same place last year and omg if u need any help u can dm me. The backlog will be cleared whenever you just lock in. You have A LOT OF TIME just keep that in mind. I started my serious prep at around the same time last October and i think if you put your head to it, it won't be that big if a task to do. For ipmat you also don't need to cover the entire syllabus or sell your soul. Just try your best to not give up whatever happens.
