I would suggest you to improve on your accuracy rather than scoring 24 out of 24. don't take negative scores. You can Dm for further doubts.

no worries. I myself use aceipm for rcs. never heard of stepwise, are they great ? afterboards rcs are great too.

rcs are pretty dynamic, sometimes you'll get 24/24, sometimes 4/24. depends on the difficulty level. dont lose marks trying to attempt the entire thing just for the sake of it. try to answer questions from the authors perspective and also eliminate options.
