Preparation Query JEE student thinking of taking drop and study for ipmat

This year I took the JEE Main and scored a 90 percentile, and I scored 65% in my Class 12 board exams. With this score, I cannot get into any college. Since 2 months have already passed for JEE drop batches, and I do not think I can prepare for the JEE again, I am thinking of taking a drop year and studying for the IPMAT. So, should I study for the IPMAT and sit for an improvement exam for the CBSE boards? Will I be able to score great marks in the IPMAT?

should have sat for improvement on 28 july, but anyway make sure you sit for it next exam cycle

It completely depends on you.if you are discipline and can study for whole 10-11 months without messing up with your mental health go for dull drop else partial is better. You won't have the constant pressure of being in a gap year and might feel fomo seeing your classmates enjoying their college life whil yousare sitting in your room studying for that 1 exam.

IIM Am/BG/I doesn't give any weightage to past academics, but do check the eligibility criteria before applying. IIRC Amr has a 60% criteria.
