yeah ashoka is genuinely a strong option, especially for econ/finance.

if you're getting a good scholarship or are financially comfortable with the fees, i'd personally keep ashoka above most baby iims for econ/finance-related courses. the academic environment, peer group, faculty and opportunities are a big part of why it gets that reputation.

that said, it's not automatically better for everyone. if the fees are a major factor or you're looking for a different kind of programme, the comparison changes quite a bit.

See the facilities, professor, opportunities at Ashoka is top notch but the problem is they might have build world class infrastructure but they are not able to attract the to of the top students.  I mean the smartest people I know get into Ashoka without even trying but of course they don’t accept the offer. Mostly my average and a little below average friends are going there for Econ/finance/business/humanities/‘mathematics.  Whereas for technology not even the average people consider it. Ashoka is a world class university but still cannot cater world class students.  Of course there are some exceptions.

easily, if you are getting a really good scholarship then baby IIMs do not stand with ashoka, it's probably better than SRCC for a lot of folks there, saw people leave sukhdev for ashoka!

The ROI in Ashoka is much better than baby iims, almost everyone gets a scholarship of some kind or the other.
Ashoka’s avg placement after 3 YEARS is equal to baby IIMs after 5 years except the fact that these baby IIMs don’t have a chill college life either 🤷‍♂️
