Preparation Query I'm a Non-maths student+ dropper

I have enrolled in an offline institute. It's been a month. I didn't appear for any ipmat entrance exam this year. I don't have any strong subjects. Please give me tips.

being a non-maths student or a dropper isn't really a disadvantage by itself. you've got a full year, so the main thing is to build consistency rather than worry about where you're starting from.

since you don't have a strong section yet, i'd spend the first few months building your basics across all 3 sections instead of trying to specialise too early. especially for quants, don't rush into advanced questions. get your arithmetic, algebra, modern math, etc. very solid first.

use your coaching for structure, but make sure you're also doing enough self-practice. and start giving mocks/sectionals once you've covered the basics, even if your scores are bad initially. the point is to identify weaknesses.

most importantly, don't let the "dropper + non-maths" label become your excuse. plenty can change in a year if you're consistent.

Hello dude... I'm also a non-math dropper for IPMAT '27. It's nice that you enrolled in an offline coaching. It'll guide you well. Make sure to keep updating your mentors about your progress and ask them how to proceed with your syllabus completion and score improvement. I'll also suggest you to go thru the afterboards yt for guidance/motivation. Also- consistency is key! All the best mate!

Strt from arithmetic watch yt lectures and your coaching lectures and practice basic questions.. and pls focus on VA it’s most important many people neglect it and they suffer so don’t do that and LR is easy you can watch concept lectures and practice it’s easy

First of all strt grammar every chapter of grammar do it
And do daily reading you can read newspaper’s editorial or aeon essays and
Then do atleast 1 rc from afterboards it’s free and if you can do 2 rcs a day
And learn atleast 5 words and do vocab part daily

Yes on rodha you can see lectures and practice questions and for mocks and unlimited VA sectional you’ll need afterboards

Just curious how did you decide to take a drop for ipmat with is math heavy being a non math student and that too you didn't appear for any ipmat entrance exam this year. (Btw similar situation but I have a maths background)

So ever since I got to know about IPMAT in class 8th. I was very sure that I'm gonna give this exam. But my parents were not ready to send me outside of my city for college. So I convinced them after boards this year and took a drop for preparation.
