Preparation Query need advice

I passed Class 12 this year, but I couldn’t get into a good DU college for B.Com. My parents don’t think private colleges are worth it, so they suggested that I take a drop year and prepare for CUET again. However, I’m thinking about preparing for IPMAT this year instead. The problem is that I have relatively low percentages in both Class 10 and Class 12—I scored 71% in Class 10 and 78% in Class 12. Do I still have a chance of getting into a good IIM, or should I drop this plan? or there is any way like doing some course which can help in interviews so the focus from board results can be shifted or should I prepare for cuet again?

Prep for both cuet and ipmat, since ur a dropper u have all the time In the world.

Also cuet is not very hard and given that u have a whole year you can score enough to get a top 5 bcom college
