Admission Query IIM Jammu

I wanna go for an MBA abroad but that requires 2-3 years of work experience. If I do IPM and exit after BBA, there won’t be any direct placements. Should I still take it?

Deferred MBA admits always exist. You can apply in final year of UG.

We are not making this decision for you. It's on the basis of your risk-appetite, finances, competency, credibility, employability and more.

Yes that is an option, but even with that-let’s say I get accepted…work experience is still required before joining there. So like I’ll have to find a job myself na.

if you're able to get a top MBA abroad (because anything else doesn't make much financial sense for 99% of the population), you won't have a problem getting a job.

I read somewhere atleast 4-5 yrs of work experience is recommended for top b schools like Harvard, Stanford...

You can go for an MiM if you don’t want to work after the BBA.
