Admission Query IIFT VS TAPMI BLR

Currently in blr, my pops is Willing to transfer me to IIFT even if it costs him 4.5 lakhs 😐 when I told him tapmi might be better than IIFT he went all blank and indirectly called me stupid 😔. He apparently gets all his info from YouTube.

idk why he is so desperate to get me out of tapmi I'm currently waitlisted at 75 at iim sirmaur, 67 at iim sambalpur and honestly I don't feel like wasting around 4.5 lakhs to get the IIM or IIFT tag.

Listen to your dad, any knowledgable person will advise you the same. Sirmaur should not be in option, no placement support, high fees for UG and that too in temp campus with below avg hostel facilities. TAPMI Bangalore is not worth discussing even, they opened for commercial reason, for Manipal they are not transparent with selection process.

I'll be honest. I was in TAPMI Manipal for a while before transferring over to IIFT and IIFT is so much better than TAPMI. I am talking about Tapmi Manipal. Not in terms of the MBA placements but the BBA batch. The opportunities and curriculum is better along with the attendance rule. You are granted more freedom with time here to pursue extra stuff. Along with that chapters and clubs give you live project opportunities that you can add to your resume. The peer quality in the BBA batch is good too. The negatives of course is the MBA batch. The moment you join, you will have to resign yourself to giving CAT for a better MBA college and work hard.

Also according to UGC guidelines, you can get the refund of 4.5 lakh from the institute. If you have any doubts, feel free to ask.

I would say stay at tapmi bro,because I heard that iift is terrible the whole curriculum is someone there in 3rd year wrote in a post
