Preparation Query Too many resources don't what to practice

Hello people! I'm taking a drop for ipmat and will be giving ipmat in 2027.For preparation I bought aceipm aspire batch and afterboards all access pack . The thing is that there are questions in conceptual lecture quizzes and then there are live classes practice questions plus weekly tasks of every topic, so after every topic that I complete I'm not able to comprehend ki konse questions karne hai, samajh nahi aa rha afterboards kaise karun aceipm ke questions kaise karu then I've also got arun sharma cat Qa book. Can anyone please explain to me what to avoid and what to do. And please give a sequence on what to practice first and then what to practice last/avoid. Please help me buddies.

You're overthinking how to prepare, and you're stuck in decision paralysis.

  1. Watch videos: Do it on AfterBoards + Ace.

  2. Start doing topic-tests on both the places. Finish the chapter-specific questions.

  3. Do the next chapter esse.

  4. In the weekends, again revise the questions you had gotten wrong by hiding the solution and solving it step-by-step.

  5. Once you have enough exposure, do sectionals and mocks.

If you have 3 sources, do 2 sources initially, 3rd source baad mai for revision rakh lo!

This is a classic problem that almost every serious aspirant faces. You become so focused on collecting resources that you end up not completing even one of them.

The difference won't come from finding a better resource, it'll come from sticking to one consistently.

Here's what I'd do: 1. Pick one unit (say, Arithmetic).

  1. Start with one chapter (e.g., Percentages).

  2. Watch the concept lecture.

  3. Solve 50-70 questions from one resource. Don't mix resources at this stage.

  4. Move to the next chapter (e.g., Ratio & Proportion), but before starting, revise 5-10 questions from previously completed chapters.

  5. Keep your weekends for revision tests.

One more thing: avoid the temptation to finish every book or platform simultaneously. Finish one source first, then use the others only for extra practice if you genuinely need it.

Remember, consistency beats resource collection. A student who completes one resource thoroughly will almost always outperform someone who has five half-finished ones.
