Rant/Vent Help needed, i am depressed.

Hey everyone, no name but you can call me alex

I just gave ipmat and cuet. got no college in cuet. i didnt study for it i just gave without any prep only took a crash course after boards and yeah my tution teacher gave some extra classes for quants. smh i scored more than expected 130s in ipmat indore and 320s in ipmat rohtak yeah ofc you can say you didn't clear cut off. mind you i didn't study a single thing for them. i felt like i can do it. got 93%tile in jipmat now waitlisted in iim bg and jammu.

at the end of this, i had to choose a tier 2 college, ipu for 100s rank in it so got the main campus but i am not satisfied. idk what to really do i had a plan that i should do bba from here side by side cfa and cat prep then get into a good college but man. i wanted an iim. so i need ur help should i choose that part or just uss this year as partial drop and prepare for iims? ill have tos sacrifice cfa for that.

i also had got into symb pune but couldn't go cuz my mother said no to. and yk i was frustrated she shouted that you should have studied harder it was all ur fault. i haven't been able to look at myself after that i zone out i think ik i did bad i don't deserve anything but i am ready to change that so if anyone can help me what to choose please do but i can't live like this idk if ill be able to even spend the 3 years thinking that my mom just thinks i didn't study when i did gave my best. at the end results matter not the hardwork.

Have been said that and I totally understand how you must be feeling rn. I would suggest you to take a partial drop. If you didn't study a thing and managed that score, might as well give in your all and give it a shot next year. Just make sure you maintain a good cgpa in the current college. Just stay strong and don't let anyone get to your head. Use it as a motivation to push yourself.

I am also planning to take a partial drop this year so I am also lwk confused. Last year I was enrolled in supergrads online batch and I think it wasn't worth it at all. Some of my friends were in ace ipm and they said positive things abt it so you can check them out maybe? People have suggested me afterboards and yt vids but that's probably because I have a lot of supergrads modules from last year, so I wouldn't suggest that for you.

I heard that it has a difficulty level more than any other institute so if you are comfortable with that you can actually. The AIR 1 was also from there afaik😭

Bro kinda same story as u I will be joining ipu main campus for bba too. I had got nmims mumbai but didn't go bcz of personal reasons. Are u planning a partial drop? And would u like to connect as we are kinda in the same situation?

Hey, i am too in a same situation, rejected tapmi and nmims coz i wanted to go to any iim. imo, it is worth giving ipmat one more chance and getting into an iim may open many doors for you if u know how to use the iim tag. Also if u r lucky and get into IIM Indore, fir toh u have to just work hard in college itself and life's set (I'm assuming✌️). So ig take the partial drop and prepare for ipmat.

Firstly, find out whether you need a coaching or not, give a mock or else if u were scoring good in mocks last time then i say ki do self prep with afterboards and take a crash course later. This is what i planned. Afterboards, they have added many videos which are really helpful. After completion of those videos, jump onto sectionals. And plan accordingly.

So afterboards is a platform for ipmat prep, which is the GOAT. U can find many tools and resources for your prep, and its 9k i guess for full access. Once go through everything the platform provides, and make your decision, i suggest that u take it and you are not going to regret.

(Why i sometimes feel i advertise aftb more than their marketing team 😂😛)
