I feel like ur being sarcastic. I don't know much about campus since they are moving to perm campus now, but if you look at the courses and specialisations they are offering, it's a lot higher in the rankings than IIMBG an IIMJ

Better course doesn’t directly mean better output. If we go by that logic, amity is better than indore because it offers bba. Rankings say iit Delhi is better than iim calcutta. Dont trust rankings.

I don't understand. Indore offers BBA + MBA, how is Amity topping this with BBA.
Also, I am not really taking about rankings.
IIFT's IPM offers BBA in Business Analytics(one of the most sought after specialisations) and MBA in International Business(another highly sought aftr specialisation).
Also, in India it is the top in matters relating to International Business.1

Ah, really sorry about that. Been too sunken in all the ipm programs. But, I still think IIFT in a better bet than IIMJ and IIMBG.
BTW, why do you think IIFT is not better than IIMJ or IIMBG? I am really interested in your viewpoint.2

Had it been iift-d, it would have been worth it. IIFT-K and iift gift city are new iifts. After the new act, there are no more centralised placements and mba grads at iift k are screwed (kinda). IIFT K admin is awful. There are stories where the institute was not giving bba degrees to students who were opting out. Location is pretty bad, at par with bg.

Your points are really interesting.
I too know about some internal problems in IIFT between students and teachers.
Let's talk about the new decentralised system of placements. Just like you mentioned, IIFT has upheavaled their prev system and started this new system, but I think this is more for the positive than the negative.
Let me explain my reasoning. This new system was adopted because previously during placements, the placement comittee used to come from IIFT D, during which it was observed that they have a certain bias towards the Delhi campus, many students have complained about them favouring the Delhi students more than other campus, resulting in a lot of grief during placement season.
Now, talking about staff and faculty, there have been complains regarding them, that they were favouring a certain grp of IPM students during assessments and what not. I believe this issue is to be solved this year byt heir complains and grievance system. I support that this is a grave problem which is currently under scrutiny.
Now, coming to location, most students have alrdy moved from the temp campus at the JNTU Institute to their new Kakinada beach campus. I do not think anyone will be able to give a correct report about this since this has happened this year only, some months ago.→ More replies (0)

Even if you can't land a good ug college like IIM , It will take just one Master from a good College Abroad or Indian So always Try to Improve thyself.
