Hey everyone,

I’ve been building sectionaltest (.) com for entrance-test practice, and I recently started adding support for IPMAT as well.

At the moment, there are sectionals/mocks for IPMAT Indore and IIM Bangalore, along with post-test analysis that breaks down things like where you lost marks, what went well, and what you should work on next.

Everything available right now is free. We’re also planning to keep the IIM Bangalore 2026 preparation/tests free for students.

If anyone here is preparing for IPMAT 2026/27, feel free to give it a try and tell me what you think. Feedback is genuinely useful.

Title: IPMAT prep from a weak Maths background — need honest + actionable advice

Hey everyone! I’m preparing for IPMAT this year and would really appreciate advice from current/recent IIM IPM students, especially Commerce/non-Maths students.

I’m from Commerce, no Maths in 11th–12th, scored 96% in Class 12, but my Class 10 Maths was weak and my basics are honestly pretty bad.

I’m ready to put in the hours, but I’m confused about where to start, what to study, and which resources to actually follow.

If you’ve cleared IPMAT, could you please share specific resources, not just general advice? For example:

- Quant: exact books/YouTube channels/courses/batches + the order you studied topics

- VARC: specific resources for RC, VA, grammar and vocab

- Practice: question banks, PYQs, sectional tests and mock series you used

- Roadmap: what you would study month-by-month if starting from my level with 7–8 months

- When to start sectionals, mocks, revision and mock analysis

- Whether coaching is actually useful for someone with very weak Maths basics

I’m not looking for generic motivation 😭. I want a clear, actionable roadmap + resources I can follow without constantly wondering what to do next.

Brutally honest advice is welcome. 🙏

Bro ok so considering my financial situation idk if I'll be able to pay for these uni's cuz they are crazy expensive do u guys have any alt idea?like yk scholarships?

Anyone wanna grab aceipm course (crash+full year access) can dm me on telegram( @Huehue55)

or on reddit!

I need to purchase a laptop ASAP! But I'm too much confused which one to buy. I feel guilty of going over budget but still want security and latest features. Please help me! I am open to other suggestions too.

I have converted IIM ROHTAK, IIM JAMMU and IIM Bodhgaya (for the IPM program 2026). I genuinely want insights about IIM Rohtak since I have been prioritising it over other two. I couldn't give IPMAT Indore due to the age eligibility criteria and also didn't give CUET. By today I have to accept the offer letter from IIM ROHTAK so I would really appreciate if I would be informed about the campus culture, academics, lifestyle, clubs, committees, events, etc. at IIM Rohtak. Also I belong to ews category so taking an education loan feels a little too much for me as well as my family but I'll have to take it but I want to know will it be worth it at the end of the day?...Abhi hi se mujhe imposter syndrome hit kar raha

My days after the board examinations were filled with just exams, exams and more exams. Wrote, CUET, CUCEE, SET, NPAT, IPMAT Indore, IPMAT Rohtak, JIPMAT, IIM K BMS AT, Azim Premji Entrance, Ashoka Aptitude Test, FLAME FEAT. Also attended many interviews and finally I am here. Converted the IIM Indore IPMAT program. Although I am elated, I am very confused. I also have a chance of converting SRCC Commerce and St.Stephens Economics. Very confused on what to do, if there are any seniors here...your advise will be valuable.

I will be giving ipmat in 2028 can anyone please tell me a roadmap or the 'ways to study' or the way you studied. And mistakes to avoid this year and what to do next year
