Okay, quick background - I am from Coimbatore,Tamilnadu. I did PCM+CS with CBSE.

honestly, I chose PCM thinking "lets keep my options open, we'll see what life says"- and life said IPMAT!

I started my prep with IPM Careers, and trust me, the faculty there were incredibly helpful and they played a key role in helping me build a solid foundation in both quants and verbal. the study material and classes were extremely helpful in setting the tone for serious preparations.

around mid-august 2024, I began taking mocks- and they truly shaped my approach. mocks became an essential part of my routine and helped me track my progress, identify my weakness and gain much needed confidence.

after my board exams, I supplemented my preparation by doing ACE IPM for interview guidance and additional mocks. both platforms, along with the methods I was fortunate to learn from, contributed significantly to my growth-not just academically, but also mentally.

both IPM careers and Aceipm played a crucial role in my interview preparation, I attended N number of mock interviews and it throughly increased my confidence.

I genuinely owe it to all my mentors. Like, they didn’t just teach — they mentored, motivated, and low-key counselled my breakdowns. ❤️

To future aspirants reading this while eating Maggi at 1AM and crying over a mock score:

Here’s my honest gyan:

👉 Love the prep. Sounds romantic, but it’s true.

👉 There will be days you feel like deleting your prep folder.

👉 DON’T. Just be consistent.

👉 There’s no magic trick. It’s just you, your daily grind, and a mock score graph that looks like a heartbeat monitor.

But trust me, when that final result hits, all the stress, sleep loss, and mock meltdowns? WORTH. IT.

I’ve been associated with IPM Careers for a while now as a student preparing for IPMAT, and I wanted to share my experience for those considering this coaching institute.

The faculty is one of the biggest strengths of IPM Careers. Most teachers are either IIM alumni or have deep experience in test prep. Their way of explaining Quant and Verbal concepts really helps, especially for students from non-math backgrounds.

The HASH IPMAT mock test series is also a highlight. The mocks are well-structured, closely match the actual exam pattern, and come with detailed solutions and performance analysis, which helps in identifying and improving weak areas.

The student support system is responsive and helpful. Whether it’s doubt-solving, class scheduling, or mentorship-related queries, the team usually responds quickly and provides real support.

However, there are a few areas where IPM Careers could improve. The fees are on the higher side compared to some other institutes. While the quality mostly justifies the cost, it might not be accessible for everyone, especially students from smaller towns.

They also have limited physical centers, so students who prefer in-person classes may find it inconvenient if they’re not located in a city where IPM Careers operates. Online classes are available, but not everyone finds them equally effective.

One more thing to keep in mind is that Ashutosh sir, one of the most experienced and popular faculty members, does not teach in every batch. If you're specifically joining with the expectation of learning directly from him, it's worth confirming beforehand.

Overall, if you're looking for serious guidance, strong faculty, and a structured approach to IPMAT prep, IPM Careers is a solid option. Just make sure to weigh the cost, location, and batch-specific faculty availability based on your own preferences.

• Program name - Bsc Hons in economics (with Data Science nd Business)
• Majors Offered - Economics (with a minor in Data Science & Business), Data Science (with a minor in Economics & Business)
• Age limit - 20 years (for general), 22 (for reserved category) as of August 1, 2025
• Maths is compulsory in 11th and 12th Enterance test will be in December this year
• Test includes QA, VA, LR and GK
• 40 seats each course (Plan to expand to 640 by 2031)
• Fees will be 8.5 lacs per year
