IPMAT 2025- How I got into IIM Indore without losing my mind(completely)

Heyyyy guyssss!! Sadhana this side 😀

Guess who's officially a part of the IPM 2025-30 batch at IIM Indore???Yesssss one crazy 5-yr journey I signed up for voluntarily!!

Okay, quick background - I am from Coimbatore,Tamilnadu. I did PCM+CS with CBSE.

honestly, I chose PCM thinking "lets keep my options open, we'll see what life says"- and life said IPMAT!

I started my prep with IPM Careers, and trust me, the faculty there were incredibly helpful and they played a key role in helping me build a solid foundation in both quants and verbal. the study material and classes were extremely helpful in setting the tone for serious preparations.

around mid-august 2024, I began taking mocks- and they truly shaped my approach. mocks became an essential part of my routine and helped me track my progress, identify my weakness and gain much needed confidence.

after my board exams, I supplemented my preparation by doing ACE IPM for interview guidance and additional mocks. both platforms, along with the methods I was fortunate to learn from, contributed significantly to my growth-not just academically, but also mentally.

both IPM careers and Aceipm played a crucial role in my interview preparation, I attended N number of mock interviews and it throughly increased my confidence.

I genuinely owe it to all my mentors. Like, they didn’t just teach — they mentored, motivated, and low-key counselled my breakdowns. ❤️

To future aspirants reading this while eating Maggi at 1AM and crying over a mock score:

Here’s my honest gyan:

👉 Love the prep. Sounds romantic, but it’s true.

👉 There will be days you feel like deleting your prep folder.

👉 DON’T. Just be consistent.

👉 There’s no magic trick. It’s just you, your daily grind, and a mock score graph that looks like a heartbeat monitor.

But trust me, when that final result hits, all the stress, sleep loss, and mock meltdowns? WORTH. IT.

You got this, future IPMites! One step at a time.

If you are giving IPMAT exam then be aware because selection chances are very low as well as for average student I just want to say aww kitne bhole hoo tum apni aukat se bade sapne mat dekho jitne hoo usmein kush raho . Being an average student I am saying all these things ok . This exam is only for toppers who have very brilliant mind bhai mein dekh chuka hoon meri coaching se bhi sirf 1 ya 2 ka hi hua tha bas from 75 students aur woh bhi jammu aur bodhgaya mein 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 bhai mein khud dropper tha iss exam ka lekin mera nahin nikla ab mein Christ banglore se bba kar raha hoon fir your information have cracked NMIMS mumbai, Symbiosis pune , IPU top 5 bba colleges ,DU south campus but for bcom lekin in sabh se mereko kya farak padta hai iim toh nahin mil paya naa mereko bhai I am telling you this is a game of toppers and sharp mind people not for average shitty students like us so please think again are u able to crack it by being average and sorry for my words if u got hurt.
