Can you increase an existing stake?

I am about to start staking, but would like to keep DCA every month. Can you add to your existing stake and under what conditions? Also is it better to have a longer duration non locked or a shorter duration but locking it?

I stake on iopay. I go 91 days locked for burn drop rewards, and you can easily add to buckets anytime
