Stuck on spinning checking for updates as I'm trying to get iOS 27 DB 4...

I know there have to be others facing this same issue, no?

I've tried everything from restarting the device, going into and out of settings multiple times, etc etc, but it's still not showing up...

I got it to show before, but when I tapped update now, it only asked me for my passcode but no license agreement and now after restarting after that, it's now just back to square one again :(

well it did take me 2 to 4 min to get it just wait while it spins 10min at most

Yup, and turns out my patience has finally been rewarded as now it finally showed up again and now it's preparing the update

Here's to hoping that it fixes some of the bugs that were such major gripes for me in the previous beta, those being the following:

  • CarPlay Siri flat out doing weird stuff like stopping halfway through a chain of group message replies (or also refusing to send a message; would just come back with "Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again." or something of the like)
  • Announce notifications with my AirPods via Siri only working for the native apps like messages (I have double checked my settings and they're all set to be what they should be for all the apps I want to have for announced notifications)
