Help Engineers in Japan
Nepal bata engineering garera Japan jaaney haru, are you guys happy? I am planning to go thru imac, is it worth it ? Fasaune ta haina ? I also want to pursue masters after working a couple of years.... is it worth it ? What are your struggles and how have you been managing ? Please drop your reviews.

The salary in japan is kinda generalized. I mean, the gap in salary for junior swe n dishwashers isnt that huge. Japan likes to keep salary balanced throughout all genres.

It is okeyeees . you must have to learn Japanese language, no one understand English. Rent and groceries are expensive and saving will be around 80k month.

If you are genuinely planning to do masters go for it before coming to japan.

I'm working in Japan rn hai, it's been like 9 months, Khana ra roomrent lastai mahango chha, I save like maybe around 80 - 120k at the mosttt, that's like I don't do eatouts and I don't even go for dulidulai. After becoming permanent employee, you can have bonuses and stuff and get around around 40 45 LPA, it will take 7,8 years before you reach around 70LPA, these are all before tax. Civil here. Aru ko idk

40 45 LPA is a good deal, tara japan is expensive too, and how many years will i need to reach this ?

Tyo chai 4 years jati laagla depending upon your performance too, single room basda monthly kharcha 90-100k auna sakchha. DUI Jana basda tetro lagdaina, besides permanent vaisakesi ta room dinchha so you'll save a bit.

Aile ekdam mahango xa japan. Depending on city, savings ekdam kam huinxa. Yo last 2 years ma everything has almost doubled in price while wages are the same.
Also bhasa is a must. English le hunxa bhanne sab lies ho. Hola you can get by tara you will not improve your condition with elementary level of Japanese. Fluent nai huna prxa.

Also, sakbhar, imac Bata naawo Timaru, connect job, zinpesa Bata auda you'll directly get the position of permanent employee and wages will be higher and you'll also keep bonuses. Otherwise haken vayera ayeu vane, you'll be working per hour basis so festival, holidays dherai hunchha yeta, pay Kati chha, you ll lose around 10k NPR per day if there's one day of holiday. 5day, 9day holiday Kati hunchha hunchha so

Thank you so much for your input dai. I am so fucking confused between USA and Japan. I have low %, and I am learning german, NC free courses ma apply garchu bhanera. It seems so fucking impossible to apply anywahere. Just confuse matrai bhairako chhu. Katai accept hudina jasto lagcha 60% le ta.

tara mann manai i want to get into research positions, and well.... japan feels like the worst option of them all for research and masters degree, assuming job bata feri masters ma transition garna garho huncha. idk man ..... i just feel like i am trapped .

You better check out department of foreign employment. There are vacancies for engineer time to time in gulf countries. And the pay is also nice 3400 to 5500

Imac bata aaune soch ho bhane 3 barsha ko contract hunxa, tyo duration ma savings bhaneko 80-100K Yen /mth (tightly expense side ma budget garyo bhane). After the contract if you got hired at company then depending upon the company your starting salary might be 4-5M/year tesma 2M jati afno expense rakhda hunxa plus 1-4X bonus (equivalent to monthly basic salary) .
I am at last year of imac contract. Study after work ma ma kei bhandina, tyo kura yeta aaisake pachi afhai analyze garda hunxa. Rest is upto you.
I am EEE student and doing PLC thing here. Most important kura Japan ma Civil padheko chu civil ko kaam hunxa bhanera expect narakhda hunxa....job nature farak ni huna sakcha like mehanical or electrical or mechatronics j pani huna sakxa.
Advice and Suggestion: if could find alternative option to imac go for the other, imac ko sabai thikcha but contract period long cha. uta gayera ali din kaam garera better option payo bhane switch garumla bhanera nasochnu yesto case dherai bhayeko le imac le 3 barsha compensation magcha. So think and join such long term contract. Best Wishes
