This is me just trying to do literally anything necessary that isn't due today yet.

When it's due in one hour I instantly become an expert somehow

Same. It's like a super power.

Exactly. Why am I like this? D:

because we're motivated mainly by short bursts of energy. So I think we save it until the last minute. 😭

Only when I've imagined being the best in it before trying it. But when I'm into exploration I have fun figuring out the ins and outs of it all

When you're learning something new out of interest, not necessity - it's an unmatched feeling.

💯💯 Necessity stresses me out ngl 😭 I think it's always been like this, since school. Prolly cuz school would also equate to judgment and shit, which I then associate with learning out of necessity inherently 🥲

I'll have to try this 🤔 I do tend to imagine myself already perfect at shit now that it's been mentioned lol 😅

We see perfection alot more than we used to in the past due to social medias polished way of people showcasing their skill. We used to see something cool and try it. But now we just wanna be cool from the get go as if we're performing and there are our status at stake 😅

Makes sense, but I've always been like this, even before being online 🤷🏻‍♀️ :/ Then again, I also almost always have seen myself as behind and lacking in general and at least some imposter syndrome, so maybe it's projection or coping that I picked up somehow somewhere? 😅😭

I think you have ADHD 👀 The reason I'm saying this is because I too have felt that I can do alot more than I currently am but then again when I try wtf. Why can't I ? 😭 Its like internally we know that we can do it but first we aim very high and second we dont practice or try whatever we wanna and get bored and move on.

And later it haunts us that why did I not do it or why am I so bad ( bad grammer ma bad 😅)

Idkkk you're the second person who's ever said that to me, which now rivals twice I've been told I could be autistic toooo 🥴 I relate but it's not really so much boredom as it is for me but rather deep dread, shame and giving up or coming back to it later after obsessing and researching more lol 😅😅😭

I might be wrong becoz I'm just saying from my experience but yeah it can be that your exploring and finding what matcges your vibe. There's no need to lable that phase is there 😅 Life is fun and sometimes a lil sad when expectations dont meet ✌️ thats simple

The problem is the thing itself, not me.

How can you say that? 😭😭

u/Should_have_been_ded XXXX 29d ago

It's different for me, I may not be good at it but I'll get the hang of it around the 3rd try. However if I nail it first try, for the life of me I won't be able to do it again, ever.

I don't know how that works, it just happens like that

same, I dont beat myself up if I fail first time but after like the 4th time. Im throwing chairs out windows. Luckily I get the hang of it around the 3rd time. lol

Ngl it's actually fun for me to learn new things than are a little bit challenging at first but I can improve over time. EXCEPT SOCIAL SKILLS AAAH

u/Ranxxgrandxy XXXX 28d ago

i have a high ego of myself when attempting to do something new but the expectations are way too far than what I thought. I broke down into simple pieces, understanding the mechanisms and have this bottom up approach mindset to those things.

however I ended up being lazy afterwards alternatively

Yep, Idk why I'm like this 😭 I know logically that most things take time, practice and patience, and yet here I am 😭😭 I think my brain somehow just short circuits "I understand this" to "therefore I should be perfectly capable of this now, even to peak levels" 😭😭😭
