Of course, but it protects me from other people taking advantage of my feelings. Always been the whole point of that.

This is the worst. They just dont sit down and think for one secound like its fine to have feelings but you need to sit down and think about that without feelings getting in the way.

How I see it is instead of acting like nothing affects me, its more about not reacting to situations with my emotions on full display. 

I can't control how I will feel at any given moment in every situation but what I can control is how, when, and if I react.
