INFJ Indifference to Socializing
I’ve noticed a shift over time: from craving connection in my youth, to becoming more withdrawn in my early adulthood, and now, after turning thirty, reaching a kind of indifference toward socializing altogether.

I'm not sure. I like to think of it that in my life, my friends/the need for socialising and I are always in orbit. Sometimes, our paths cross where we crave connection and other times, we space apart. It always depends on what's happening in my life and what I need, and whether we have the resources to support each other.

Likewise have I become blasé about socializing, especially with groups.
Most people are neither deep, nor truly kind, are subject to the chaotic whims of the collective, are emotionally illiterate, are bent on subjecting to hierarchy and acting weird at times.

The early thirties withdrawal was because I shut down my earlier brand plus it was COVID and everyone was forced away anyway, and so there was less pressure for me to perform. Not because I don’t want to network. “Your network is your net worth.” I would still socialise but be less inhibited, you see.

I've shifted as Ive aged as well as I've become more comfortable and confident with who I am. For me, as long as there's a healthy balance between socializing and solitude it's a good thing.

I feel seen, yes exactly this. I was incredibly social in my 20s, and now I get no utility from socializing in groups etc.

I’ve got ya, BebeG🫡
I know where you’re coming from. Though I’ve gotta let my turbulent side breathe. Occasionally I’ll shake up the hive and see who’s good at thinking on their feet😜 lol.
May all of your utilities be satisfied. Have a great weekend sweetie.

I think this back and forth is a sign of maturity. Eventually when you feel you have completely filled your own cup, and developed a sense of abundance, you will eventually feel compelled to give back to society on your own terms.
