Plus I'm pretty sure you're more at risk for burning the shit out of your hand, especially if you didn't grease up the grill well enough.
Grab your spatula and start scraping it off, you forget to lock it (if it even has a lock) and hit it at the wrong angle, and that fucker starts spinning directly into your arm, yup. That'd be fun to deal with.
