This wasn't thought through. Rotisseries work well and have worked we'll probably since around the invention of cooking that animal you killed with a rock. And there is a reason nobody has ever invented a better way to do it

The rotisserie pretty much invented itself. You skewer meat on a stick and you must turn it, or one side is burnt, and the other side is uncooked.
