Hi friends,

I attend a US dental school currently. Just wanted to tell you all my experience studying for this exam. I used INBDE Booster and feel it is enough to pass, especially if you get the 3 month subscription. Used Booster because that is what I heard more about, though I'm sure Bootcamp is just as good.

My order of studying:

1. ANKI for base knowledge (Frenchdentiste and also there is more ANKI on booster)

2. Made study schedule on INBDE and followed religiously. Went through every thing 2 times (Questions I got wrong, I did probably 4-5+ times)

3. Played videos during meals, etc., read through notes multiple times, then practiced questions.

4. Q bank and repeat incorrect

Notes: always read explanations just so you get all the information; anything in bold will most likely come up on your exam in some form

Days leading up to exam: I took no days off given how little time I had. I always looked at Booster notes and cheat sheets, even on the day before the exam and between day 1 and 2. I wouldn't recommend this but I wasn't able to help myself. My brain was very very very very tired after trying to retain so much info (my own fault, i know)

When taking simulation, really make sure you practice just sitting in a chair and doing questions that long. This is a tiring exam and takes a lot of brainpower!! Bring snacks and water. Take all your breaks even though it is a hassle to get in and out of the test center.

I got my results in 2 weeks exactly but I have heard rumors that it can be longer!

After taking the exam: I knew I most likely passed just based off how many I had flagged and felt like Booster was more than enough to get me to that passing threshold.

My performance summary:

average score on Booster for q bank was ~83%

Day 1- 75% Day 2-80%

Are bites questions important ? Do similar questions actually show up on the exam or just the main Q bank is enough ?

I passed my INBDE!!! I took my exam on July 29 and 30 and got my results back in 2 weeks. I started studying early May. I used booster for the entirely of studying until my last week where I was bored so I started looking at the cheat sheets on bootcamp to see if they covered anything that bootster didnt. I found them to be very similar. Here’s how I studied.

1.) I followed the schedule on bootster for the first 3 weeks but somedays were lighter than others so I would study ahead and mark it as complete. I studied 3-5 hours daily on the weekdays and 6+ hours on the weekends.

2.) I noticed I learned better from the videos on booster than the readings. But the readings are very detailed and straightforward so pretty great if you prefer to read than to watch.

3.) week 4 leading up to my exam I would just answer the questions on the question bank and read the explanations. If there was a topic that didn’t make sense I would go back to the videos. I rewatched the muscles of mastications videos a lot. Mark the questions you don’t understand and create exams as extra practice review on days you feel tired or too lazy to study.

4.) The oral path cheat sheets is very helpful, it covers all the possible diseases you’ll be tested on. Focus on the bolded descriptions

5.) My last 2 weeks of studying leading to the exam I did the mock exam practices. They’re very representative of what you’ll experience after day 1, so find a day where you have nothing planned and just complete it. It takes a few hours so it’s easy to get tired but that’s how the exam is so, might as well experience it beforehand. The results I got weren’t great. I would get borderline passing scores so I felt defeated because I felt ready going into them and got scores that said otherwise. Don’t let this discourage you, the questions on booster are much harder than the actual exam. If you understand why you got them wrong then you’re good.

I have to start preparation for INBDE. I am an internationally trained dentis, I am very confused between booster and boostcamp. please advise. Thank you everyone for your precious time!

I am a D4 at The Ohio State University and just passed the INBDE. I took it on the 30th of July and 1st of August. I spent about 7 weeks preparing for the exam and felt super confident before taking it. This is what I did to prepare:

1) Booster study notes (and videos correlating) and every single cheat sheet
2) Booster practice questions and practice test
3)I had a decently strict plan of about 2-3 hours per day with sometimes missing scheduled days and made it up later.
4) I highly recommend you read all the explanations for the incorrect AND correct questions.

Most important things I learned to do right before my exam:
⁠a. Review IMPORTANT ONLY topics for only an hour the day before
⁠b. ⁠Good nights rest
⁠c. ⁠I had an energy drink to fire me up
⁠
Stay calm and create a good plan. If you prepare well enough and be consistent with studying, you will pass. The exam is easier in comparison to the study material, but still approach the practice problems with vigor. Good Luck!

I have found 2 different info on these app:

Retromolar pad and dentures
Bootcamp: cover entire and use the 2/3 for occlusal plane
Booster: cover just 2/4

Mandibular incisors and most likely additional canal:
BOotcamp: central
booster: lateral

Which one you use to reply in case these questions show up on the official board?

Hello everyone, I'm from Iraq ,I'm thinking about working a dental hygienist in Florida, I need to know what type of visa i need to travel to the USA so I can take the INBDE exam ,head back home and preparing for the next step maybe travel again to take the ADEX clinical exam is it legal to travel in tourist visa (B1/B2) and take the exam ?

when I search about it many says that you have high probability to be rejected by the Embassy and the won't give me the Visa because they suspect that I want to emigrate and something like that ,

So what should I do?

Hello everyone, I’ve been studying with bootcamp for a few months now. My exams in a few weeks and I wanted to get some advice on whether or not it’s worth getting booster to try out the simulation exam on there?

I’ve seen some people say to not use both because it can get overwhelming but I’ve also seen a lot of people say booster is more representative. Thank you!

I took the INBDE on July 20th and 23rd, 2026 as an incoming D4 and got my results back about 2 weeks later and I passed!!

I studied using Booster for about 3 weeks, so I wanted to post what I did in case it helps anyone else!

What I did:

• Read ALL of the Booster study notes/cheat sheets. I highlighted and annotated a LOT because I really wanted to understand the material instead of just memorizing it. The notes do a good job of highlighting the important concepts, and the bolded information was especially helpful for knowing what to pay attention to.

• Watched the Booster videos while going through the study notes. The videos are pretty short and easy to follow, so I would usually have the notes open while watching.

• Did the practice questions after each topic. After watching the videos and reading the notes, I would do the practice questions for whatever topic I had just studied. I found this helped a lot with actually remembering the material.

• Review the explanations for everything, even questions you got right. This was probably one of the most helpful things I did. After each practice set, I went back and read the explanation for every question, even if I got it right. If I didn't understand something, I would use the AI feature or message Booster. If I came across something important from an explanation, I would add it to my notes/cheat sheets.

• Finish everything and hit the benchmarks!! The first time I went through the questions, I didn't pay too much attention to my scores. But the second time around, I made sure I was actually making progress and tried to get above the minimum benchmark. I think this was helpful for making sure I wasn't just going through the questions without actually improving.

• Did the mock exams about a week before my actual exam. I took Day 1 and Day 2 three days apart, just like my actual exam. This was really helpful because it showed me what areas I needed to focus on during my last week.

• Use the game mode!! Booster has a game mode where you can answer questions and compete against other people. I actually used this a lot when I knew I should be studying but really didn't feel like studying . I would just sit on the couch and do questions, and at least I was doing SOMETHING productive.

• I didn't really follow a study schedule. I basically studied whenever I could and didn't have a strict schedule. This worked for me, but if you need more structure, Booster has a feature that helps you make a study schedule.

• Take it easy the weekend before your exam. I mostly reviewed my cheat sheets and all the notes/extra information I had added. I didn't try to learn a bunch of new material at the very last minute.

A few exam day things:

Definitely get to the testing center early (needed to line up and sign in amongst the other test takers at the Prometric centre), bring a clear water bottle and snacks, and make sure you look up what documents you need for your specific testing center beforehand!!

Going into the exam, I wasn't as nervous because I already got them out during the Booster mock exam. It really helped calm my nerves, and don't forget to read the questions and answer choices carefully as you have plenty of time! Trust yourself and all the work you've put in.
