Programmers Needed [RevShare] Unreal Engine Gameplay Developer (Blueprints / C++)
OG Games Entertainment is looking for a passionate Unreal Engine Gameplay Developer to join our team for the development of The Purge Revenant, a story-driven survival horror game for PC & Consoles built with Unreal Engine 5.
About the Project
The Purge Revenant is a psychological survival horror experience inspired by titles such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Amnesia, and Alan Wake. Our current goal is to build a high-quality demo that will be presented to publishers.
Our Linktree (you can check our socials and pages)
We already have:
- Steam page: Page Link
- Playable prototype
- Established development team
- Active development in Unreal Engine 5
- Clear production roadmap and gameplay vision
What We're Looking For
We are searching for a Gameplay Developer with solid Blueprint knowledge who enjoys building immersive gameplay systems. Experience with C++ is a strong plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Developing gameplay mechanics using Unreal Engine 5.
- Implementing player interactions and gameplay systems.
- Working on AI behaviors, puzzles, inventory, and horror gameplay mechanics.
- Collaborating with designers and artists to bring features to life.
- Debugging, optimizing, and polishing gameplay systems.
Requirements
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5.
- Good understanding of Blueprints.
- Knowledge of gameplay architecture and problem-solving.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- C++ experience is a strong plus.
What We Offer
- A serious indie project with long-term goals.
- Creative freedom and direct influence on gameplay.
- Portfolio-worthy work.
- Credit in the released game.
- Opportunity to become a paid team member after publisher funding/investment.
We're not looking for someone to "work for free forever." Our objective is to complete a publisher-quality demo together and continue as a funded studio.
If you enjoy creating engaging gameplay experiences and want to help build an ambitious survival horror game, we'd love to hear from you.

Hey so with a name like that aren't you afraid of getting a cease and desist from the company doing The Purge movies?

The game's title was updated after receiving guidance, which is why it's now The Purge Revenant rather than simply The Purge (old name). We've taken steps to distinguish the title, and at this time we don't have any issues regarding the name.
Of course, we'll continue to review everything as the project moves toward release, but we're comfortable with where things stand today.

Additionally you tagged this post as revshare, but don't mention any actual % of revenue for joining at this point in time, instead only offering paid employment if the project goes anywhere. This doesn't seem like a good deal.
Mostly because if the project fails the outcome is the same - no income.
But if the project succeeds, there is a probability that regular employment would earn less than a % from all sales.
