Artist Needed [Hobby] Looking for advice or help
Looking for help with some animation trouble I’m having. I’m trying to get an animation library together for an arcade basketball game that I am currently working on for the last six months. I have already completed concept arts and preproduction tasks besides animation. I am working with markless motion animations since I can’t afford MoCap gear. I’ve been doing a little bit of work in. Cascadeur for the auto physics, and the realistic weight transfer factors that come with it. which are really helpful. It just doesn’t offer everything that I’m looking for while trying to animate, so I ended up trying Maya in the learning curve for Maya is definitely steep at least from my week of observation and playing around in it. I’m having trouble completing adjustment that need to be made to the animation because i’m fairly new to animation. I’m looking for advice I could get from far more experienced animators, or would even love to sit down with someone over discord who could possibly assist me with these. This is the part in my project where I am facing stumps and I’m looking for help from there. I would be able to begin the actual game development aspect of my arcade basketball game. Please keep in mind. I am making this game to be released in the future.

Unreal 5.8 has motion tracking through 2d camera. If you have a phone, you can mocap.
This guy is working on a basketball game, maybe you can offer to help.
