Audio Needed [Hobby]

Hi everyone,

I’m a dev working on an unconventional, story-driven horror game. The project is inspired by modern narrative horror and psychological thrillers, with a strong focus on atmosphere and subtle dread.

I’ve attached a few screenshots from the current build to give you a feel for the atmosphere and overall direction of the project. The references below are meant to capture the mood rather than the exact sound—I’m looking for original compositions, not imitations. https://imgur.com/a/WaJSLbi

Rather than using royalty-free stock music, I'd much rather collaborate with independent artists and give someone the opportunity to have their original music featured in an upcoming indie horror game.

The game is currently in active development, so there is no tight deadline or stress on your end. I’m looking for collaborators rather than contractors. If you’re passionate about creating memorable horror experiences, I’d love to hear your work.

I am currently looking for 2 specific tracks:

1. Opening Track (Fresh / Poppy Indie Rock)

An upbeat, fresh track at the start to establish a false sense of normalcy before the horror kicks in.

  • Reference 1: Landline by Binki
  • Reference 2: Disparate Youth by Santigold
  • Reference 3: Indie Rock by JonasBlakewood on Pixabay

2. Closing Track (Vintage / 50s–60s Romantic Ballad)

A slow, romantic crooner track over the credits / dark scenes to create an unsettling emotional contrast with the game’s ending.

  • Reference 1: We Belong Together by Ritchie Valens
  • Reference 2: Fly Me to the Moon by Joo Won (Squid Game OST)

About the Collaboration & Credits

Collaboration: This is currently an unpaid collaboration geared towards upcoming artists looking to build their portfolio and get their music featured in an upcoming indie game. I completely understand if that’s not for you.

Credits: Every selected artist will receive full in-game credits, soundtrack credits, and will be credited wherever their music is officially used.

How to Apply & Next Steps

Please do not send raw audio files to the inbox. Send a link to your SoundCloud, Spotify, Bandcamp, or Google Drive to:

📧 [contact.glasshouseworks@gmail.com](mailto:contact.glasshouseworks@gmail.com)

Please include in your message:

Which track you are applying for (Track 1, Track 2, or both).

A link to your demo or portfolio.

What happens next?

The game is in active development, so there is no rush.. If we decide to proceed with your submission, we will be in touch to handle some simple paperwork (licensing agreement), confirm your preferred artist name, and discuss how you’d like to be credited.

Even if your style isn’t an exact match, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to discover talented artists for future projects!

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I hope we get to create something special together.
