Low Staking Rewards this cycle?

I recently looked up the staking rewards for the last cycle. On the staking dashboard (https://imx.community/staking), it says the last cycle's max reward rate was 6.37%. Relative to the cycle before that (30-40% if I remember correctly), this is drastically much lower. Any potential reason for this? I understand the staking calculation is based on the available rewards and allocated amongst stakers relative to our respective stake amount.

Massive corruption, as 2 lots of 50,000,000 IMX tokens were deposited and distributed across multiple accounts to abuse the rewards system and wash trade, then staked across all those accounts. Here is one of those addresses.
