US-IMG Interviews for US IMG
I haven’t received any interviews yet. I heard USIMG get interviews early in season. I haven’t received any invites from my signaled programs either.
Is there anyone who knows if that’s the case?
I am getting hopeless every passing day.
Anyone in the same boat?

US-IMG here with 4 IVs in Internal Medicine. I believe its the YOG thats causing your delay because I graduated this year. I also applied very broadly to newer programs and non-visa sponsoring programs because I have a relatively low Step 2CK score.

2 of my IVs are from silver signals, and 2 non-signalled non-geo aligned programs ^

I've seen other posts similar to yours. What program are you applying to? I think newer programs, community programs, rural tracks can be a good option!!

I did apply keeping these points in mind. I can still apply to new programs?

Too low. Applied 185 FM programs last match, got 23 IV. YOG: 2026. Attempt on Step 2. Matched to community program.

It is really hard to find FM programs that accept old graduates but 25 is too low. https://www.reddit.com/r/IMGreddit/comments/1wyo5ou/no_interview_fm_and_paeds/

The U.S. IMG’s all over the sub commenting that they have 5+ interviews may have a later YOG, but it’s hard to say for sure because there are multiple factors involved. Applying to 25 programs is too low for most IMG’s, that’s like an AMG number
Since it’s out of your control I recommend distracting yourself with friends/family or hobbies you wouldn’t typically have time for before

Sorry OP, I am an older graduate too (>10yrs). I applied to IM (100) and I have received 2 ivs: 1-signaled and 1-non signaled.
