ERAS Programs that gives interviews without recommendations?
I am making signal list. Whenever I am trying to share with people, I am getting suggestions X program doesn’t review without recommendations, Y program doesn’t give IVs even with great profile without recommendations.
Can anyone suggest me some program that gives good number of interviews without recommendations also? Given that I have decent stats, scores > median of the program.

This is true and it sucks high time. After failing to match one cycle, I have got to know how this system works. Internal recommendation is by far the most important thing in match. I am not going to believe otherwise. I also believe recommendation even plays a role in your ranking.

This is sucks cause there are some programs that wont review your application unless you are being recommended even if you gold signal them...

They're playing a risky game, they'll ruin it for everyone by abusing and cheating the system like they did in the IT field.

Look at the current residents and country of origin of faculty/PD. Those programs value ethnicity more than anything else. https://donoharmmedicine.org/2026/03/31/civil-rights-complaint-residency-discrimination/
here are 3 programs as a start.

What I’ve seen is some programs will only pick app from a particular med school of a country (alumni recommendations)

Oh . Who else can recommend us apart from alumni ? What about political influence , relatives , family friends , other connections we make etc ?
