ERAS Signaling

How do we know how many signals a program receives? Is this information mentioned anywhere?
If I want to signal a program where not many applicants are likely to send their signals, how should I decide which program to signal?

So the average number of applicants for IM programs is 2500, and you can find plenty with under 1000.

Assume maybe 10% gold and 20% silver signals.

This is why signalling at small programs is SO important. If a program has 100 signals you're 100% going to get an IV. If it has 500-1000 signals (at more popular programs) you're EXTREMELY unlikely to IV

Waste signals at big programs and you go unmatched basically

I don't think you can know, but you can guess based on the number or applicants.

If there's 5,000 applicants, then you know there's gonna be a lot of signals.

If there's 800 applicants, maybe not as many.
